The Power of Data: Seeing Through the Forest to Drive Real Decisions

Few would argue that there is a substantial influx of data in today’s society. Everywhere you look there is more data being developed, but the question is, what do we do with all of this data now that we have it? Are business leaders using these data to help drive real decisions? Are leaders becoming numb to the data because there is so much of it and simply falling back on their internal KOLs to be their primary decision driver engine? Are we driving so hard for metrics and scorecards that we can’t see the trees through the forest?

This presentation will show best practices from a global life science leader and walk through a case study of the use of market data and how it changed leadership's position, and ultimately shaped a significant product roll-out.

SAMPS, Sales And Marketing Professionals in Scientific research, is the first and only organization dedicated to sales and marketing professionals within the life sciences.

The association’s goal is to serve its members who work in commercial roles for life science products and services companies and associated businesses, globally.
 
SAMPS was previously named ACP-LS. We feel that SAMPS more clearly describes the membership, and will form a better foundation from which to expand this membership globally.
